As a followup to Ben, let me just talk about what is going on.

Dominant Miscourse

Yes. It’s broken due to a conflict with other software. This means I have to repost everything again which has left me annoyed. We also are in the process of making new videos. Unfortunately this takes time. I’m looking into publishing three over the next week from myself and maybe one or two from additional content creators. We need more content creators for Dominant Miscourse. If you have an idea for a show, make a video and leave a link in the comments. We are also looking for people who can make themes for WordPress for a massive redesign of all areas of the site. Any contributors welcome.

Podcasts

We are taking EB in our stride and continuing. This is a free service but it would be great if you could throw in a dollar or two for new equipment. You don’t have to or anything, but it would really help. At the moment, we are using baked bean tins attached with string to record and we really need to by some tin openers because bean juice keeps coming out of the hole at the bottom. There is a donate link on the podcast website.

And that’s all I have to say. New content coming soon.

Just a heads up – I’ve upgraded the blog to the latest version of WordPress. As often happens when you upgrade from version 2 to 3 of something, SOMEWHERE something has broken.

So if anyone finds any bugs, I’d appreciate if you could leave a comment here so I can fix the problem.

Well well well, guess who’s back?

That’s right, Concerned-ish is back online – PERMANENTLY this time! As in, this site won’t go down when I knock a cable from the back of my PC. Why? Because this isn’t hosted on my PC, it’s a magical, PROPER webserver. As such, look forward to more posts, more fun, more rants, and more coffee!

On a slightly less fortunate note, anyone who registered a subscriber account will need to re-register. Likewise, anyone who has bookmarks (I think there were about 3 of you) will need to update.

Just thought you’d like to know that the Concerned-ish (and everything else) forums are currently down. This is becasue, as the forums now say on the main-page, the B54 webhosts are morons. We’ll fix them soon, don’t worry.

Also, sorry for lack of content lately – just a touch of writer’s block. It’s clearing up now though.

Well then, it’s widely known that myself, along with others (Aaron being an example) work on several projects. I’d like to just give you guys a rundown on everything that’s happening this year, in case anyone is interested.

Digimon Abridged: One of my favorite anime seres from when I was a kid, I havn’t found any (good) abridged series for it yet. As such, some of our time is going to be allocated to this. This is a collaboration project with Breach54, who it was originally going to be under before I started Concerned-ish. (Yes, I run Breach54 too. I get around, huh-uh?)

Digimon Tamers – Redux: Many people, on message boards and Steam friends, have expressed dissatisfaction with the dub. So, what am I supposed to do? Sit back and agree? Nay. DT-R is a project to dub the Japanese Tamers series, and improve it at the same time. This project is entirely Concerned-ish managed.

Alpha Version: Hosted here, this is a semi-regular podcast hosten by myself, Hackett, and Cloud. It’s a review of games, anime, and anything else we’ve enjoyed (or not) over the period of time between… well, the last one and the new one. To see episodes so far, use the Alpha Version tag on the sidebar.

And that’s all that’s planned… so far. It’s likely more projects will surface eventually, so keep your eyes peeled. Those that don’t yet have links will have one soon, as sites for them are set up.

That’s right folks – we’ve had it. We’re Unconcerned-ish now. Or rather, our new sister site is!

Gabe Newell was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the accident.

Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Gabe Newell lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.

The vehicle was believed to have been traveling at approximately 95 miles per hour in a 55mph zone at the time of the accident.

Witnesses have stated that Gabe Newell’s car crossed the double lines several times prior to the accident and hit the center lane divider causing the vehicle to flip and roll.

Toxicology tests will be performed to determine whether he was driving under the influence.

Memorial services for Gabe Newell have not yet been announced. The service is expected to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.

So, it would appear the LHC was activated today. You know, that big thing everyone said was going to make a black hole? Well guess what – it didn’t.

While not at full power yet, they have performed some collisions today, with, what is my undertsnading, promising results.

All without a black hole forming.

I am dissappointed.

As many of you know by now, I am the only writer for Concerned-ish. I’d like this to change, since I’m a little Concerned-ish (see what I did there?) about me suddenly dissappearing and the site being left to stagnate.

I see many people visiting daily, and I’m sure some of you have things you want to rant about. Sound like you? Drop me an e-mail at ubertoast@hotmail.co.uk with a sample article. If it meets my (admittedly slack) quality control guidelines, I’ll let you know. If you don’t have an article JUST yet… send an e-mail anyway. We’ll work something out.
