After having another quick run through of the game I noticed that the scientist does actually reveal his name at the start. However, why didn’t he just give you a false name if he had even the slightest fear of you eventually ruining his plans?

Unfortunatly thats how things work, He shouldn’t pick it up if you do not want him too. Simply tell the buyer your situation and you will send it him (he should understand, like most modern people should =/)

It’s a multiplayer game, designed to be played against people. It’s like you trying to play TF2 single player – defeats the point of even playing the game. It’s a very good game, try playing it with people. Seriously.
